Chandra & Rick's Nautical Wedding

One thing I know for sure is that my favorite part of wedding planning is getting to build relationships with wonderful couples. It truly feeds my soul to be able to be of service to them on this big day that celebrates their romantic relationship .

Chandra & Rick are the kind of couple that serve as a reminder of the value of relationships in your life. They were simply a joy to work with. They walked into every meeting glowing with life, laughter, and love. You can't ask for more in a couple.

So when I got their wedding photos back from the wonderful RJZ Photography, I knew that the photos would bring me right back to the energy and love in that day. They did not disappoint!

Chandra is a school teacher so she had this detail and organization thing "on lock". Throughout the wedding there was a wonderfully classy, nautical theme. You can see the touches of blue in her bouquet and the bridal party's clothing (possibly most importantly Rick's snazzy suspenders).

In their signature style, Chandra and Rick's first look on the stairs at SunCliff on the lake, was adorable and sweet. They walked down the isle to their romantic outdoor ceremony on Lake Erie. They enjoyed some laughs during the ceremony and then happily rejoiced when they were finally pronounced husband and wife.

After cutting the cake, having their first dance, speeches, and dinner the couple snuck away to their nearby home to take some of my favorite picture from the wedding. Seriously, they are stunners! I am so glad they took this time to be together away from all the commotion and I am sure they are going to treasure these phots forever.

When they got back there was an epic dance party. Are you even surprised? I wasn't. The whole place was jumping the rest of the night. The air was alive with love and I simply melted watching it.
